At present, China's cold chain logistics industry has some practical problems, such as weak foundation, low allocation rate of cold chain equipment, imperfect cold chain coverage and so on. Li Sheng, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Cold Chain Logistics Committee of China Logistics and Purchasing Federation, introduced the current situation and development of cold chain logistics in China. As an industry of great concern to the government, the cold chain logistics market has shown a steady and rapid growth and fierce competition. At the same time, the new retail driving line and offline integrated development has brought about an incremental market. The development trend of the industry will be reflected in the government's strengthening of industry supervision, the standardization of industry competition, the emergence of high-quality cold-chain resources, mode innovation and new formats, service upgrading and so on.
Philip Greening, a professor at the University of Herewatt, UK, points out that the transport sector is the main industry for UK CO2 emission reduction targets, and more innovative technologies and models are needed in the path of gradual emission reduction in the future. The application of the Internet of Things (IOT) is helpful to cope with the problems of climate change and food safety. It is very important for the transparency, openness, traceability and collaborative creativity of all links and objects in the cold chain. It can also promote and apply the environmental protection refrigeration technology and the business model of efficient logistics, so as to realize the sustainable development of the cold chain.
Cheng Jianhong, a researcher of China Institute of Standardization, introduced the progress of energy saving and standardization in cold chain. The 13th Five-Year Plan of the State put forward the energy saving goal of promoting sound standards, green safety and informationization in the field of commercial circulation. The ways of energy saving in cold chain include improving energy efficiency of equipment and energy saving of system. The relevant standardization work should also be carried out, including household refrigerators and refrigeration exhibitions. The energy efficiency requirements of display cabinet, refrigeratory (box) and condensing unit will take into account factors such as off-design conditions, refrigerant substitution, energy saving regulations and technical specifications for refrigeration system operation, energy saving monitoring standards and national standards for energy saving evaluation.
A total of 20 rich and exciting thematic reports were presented at the conference, covering technologies such as dehumidification, quick freezing, cold storage, pre-cooling, solar-driven cooling, energy efficiency policies, regulations and standards for cold chain products, new materials, big data, cold chain logistics, business models and other key issues.
